The pressure is on the Marquette Golden Eagles as they travel to Madison Square Garden to play St. John’s this weekend.
The Eagles are fighting for a better seed and an end to another late-season collapse. The Marquette team will fly back to Milwaukee after Saturday morning’s game, then return to the Big Apple next weekend for the Big East Conference Tournament.
Tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) game will determine whether the Golden Eagles are a fifth, sixth or seventh seed in that tournament – and whether they have to play a first-round game.
