
Update 3/13/20: These listening sessions will be rescheduled at a later date. The legislators made this difficult decision due to the uncertainty caused by health concerns related to COVID-19. They noted that previous listening sessions have been well attended. Four area State Legislators have announced another set of listening sessions throughout the Manitowoc and Sheboygan County.
These sessions will all take place on Monday, March 16th with State Senator Devin LeMahieu scheduled to attend all five sessions.
The Oostburg resident will be joined by Representative Terry Katsma of Oostburg at a 9:00 AM session in the Random Lake Village Board Office, with both men being joined by Plymouth Representative Tyler Vorpagel in the Wombat Room at UW Green Bay’s Sheboygan Campus. That listening session will begin at 10:00 AM.
Senator LeMahieu and Representative Vorpagel will travel to the Kiel Public Library for a session at 11:30 AM.
The final two sessions will feature Senator LeMahieu and Representative Paul Tittl. That duo will start the afternoon at the Hilbert Community Center at 12:30 PM and will end the day in the Council Chambers in Manitowoc’s City Hall.
These sessions aim to provide citizens an opportunity to meet their representatives and share their thoughts on state government.
