The Cobblestone Hotel Construction Project in Two Rivers is coming along quite nicely according to City Manager Greg Buckley.
In his recent City Manager’s Report, Buckley says “Construction on this $6.3 million project continues pretty much on schedule, toward a June 2020 opening.” The developers have utilized 1/3 of the TIF funding available to them, specifically $250,000 of the allotted $750,000.
Meanwhile, the proposed Culvers Restaurant on the Southwest corner of Washington and 22nd Streets is at a bit of a standstill until the end of March.
Closing dates for developer land purchases have been moved back to March 31.
The reason for the delay, according to Buckley is because the “Developer has optioned one additional property, enlarging the project site.”
