A Milwaukee man is now charged with second-degree murder in the death of his two-year-old daughter in Minnesota. The body of Noelani Robinson was found wrapped in a blanket in a ditch in Steele County last March. Dariaz Higgins was arrested a few days earlier in Milwaukee for the shooting death of the girl’s mother – Sierra Robinson. The criminal complaint says Higgins had been staying at a motel in Austin, Minnesota and Noelani died there before he dumped her body along the highway. Higgins claimed his daughter died falling off the toilet, but the autopsy determined she died of blunt force trauma to the head. He remains jailed in Milwaukee for the first-degree murder of Sierra Robinson.
