A security guard at Madison’s East Towne Mall suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by a shoplifting suspect hit him last Friday.
Witnesses say a woman ran out of Dick’s Sporting Goods with a set of stolen golf clubs, threw them in the back seat of a car and jumped in on the passenger’s side. As that car tried to get away, the security guard was hit, but not injured.
Police arrested 61-year-old Melvin R. Horton and 44-year-old Stephanie M. Roll.
