Motorists in Eastern Wisconsin are feeling a little relief at the gas pump following a slight jump in prices last week.
In Manitowoc County, the average price per gallon fell about a penny to roughly $2.336, while Sheboygan County drivers are paying 3 cents less per gallon, with an average price of $2.30. For the third week in a row Door County’s average price stayed stagnant at $2.40, while Brown County saw a drop of 3 cents to $2.29, and Calumet County’s average price sits at $2.27, a 5 cent decent.
Despite the drop locally, the average price in the state jumped 2 cents to $2.42 per gallon, while the National average fell a whopping 16 cents to $2.316.
This marks the first time since we started tracking these numbers two months ago that the state average was higher than the national average.
