Manitowoc Lincoln Junior Mason Dopirak has been named Player of the Year In the Fox River Classic Conference for the just completed regular season.
The 6’ 2” guard averaged 24 and a half points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Dopirak, who scored a career high 43 his last time out in as win over Preble, shot nearly 52% from the field and almost 86% from the free throw line over an 18-game FRCC schedule.
Mason’s teammate Josh Hoffman was selected Honorable Mention all-conference.
The Ships (14-&-8, 11-&-7) open WIAA Regional action Friday night at Mequon Homestead.
