The Roncalli Boys Basketball team fell just short of their goal of capturing the EWC tittle last night. Sheboygan Falls claims that honor with a 54-52 win over the Jets.
Brian Norton called the game on AM 980 WCUB, and reports that the Jets had a couple shots late in the game just miss the mark, allowing the Falcons to claim their first Boys Basketball Conference Tittle in 16 years.
Roncalli was led by Luke and Bryce Pautz, who had 14 and 13 points respectively, with Senior Alex Orth contributing 12. The Falcons’ Connor Spielvogel accounted for a game high 22 points.
The both teams finished 18-4 on the year, but the Falcons captured one more game in the EWC, giving them the conference title.
