A few more details are coming out about the case involving the death of a three-year-old girl in Appleton.
Police responded to a home in the 500 block of North Kensington Drive at around 9:30 PM on Wednesday and found the child and a pregnant woman attacked with a “edged weapon”.
The suspect, 25 year old Demetrius L. Williams , was arrested shortly after, and had reportedly been dating the 27-year-old woman.
The woman and her unborn child are said to be in stable condition as of last evening, but the three-year-old child died from her injuries. An autopsy is expected to be completed on the child this morning by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Williams will be in court on Monday, facing one count of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of attempted homicide
