The Clipper City Co-op in Manitowoc has had a successful past 12 months.
In late 2019 the Clipper City Board of Directors looked carefully at the future timeline of the Clipper City Co-op, and decided it was time to grow.
The momentum from community support shown by ownership growth of 168 new owners in the next five months led the board to put its agenda on fast track and move it forward to the next stage of implementation in 2020.
President of the Co-op Naomi Raddatz said in a news release “Becoming an owner is important because not only are you indicating support for the co-op from your $200 one-time fee but more importantly, you’re saying you (and your family) will be shoppers at the co-op once it opens.”
The Co-op is currently running out of a pop-up office at 804 Jay Street.
