A 71-year-old Kewaunee County Man was found dead late this morning inside a home that caught fire early this morning. Sheriff Matt Joski says that his office received a call shortly after 1 a.m. of a structure fire located on Wochos Road in Franklin Township.
Deputies and Fire Department personnel found the home totally engulfed in flames upon arrival and began to extinguish the blaze immediately. Information received indicated that a single occupant was in the home and he was located just after 11:30 a.m. His name is not being released at this time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall with assistance from fire investigators from the State Department of Justice.
