The Marquette Golden Eagles ended their three-game losing streak emphatically with a 93-72 win over Georgetown Wednesday.
The Eagles have struggled with slow starts, but they opened the Big East Conference encounter with seven straight points and had a 20-point lead in the first half.
The nation’s leading college scorer, Markus Howard, hit 10-of-16 shots for 30 points, adding seven assists and five rebounds. Sacar Anim and Jamal Cain had 15 points apiece for Marquette (18-9, 8-7 Big East).
The Eagles host Seton Hall Saturday afternoon.
