An 18-year-old Madison man has been arrested for keeping a loaded firearm where a child could get his hands on it.
Emergency responders were called Wednesday morning shortly after midnight when a four-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the foot.
The child was handling the gun when it went off. He is expected to survive.
Davon Johnson faces charges for failing to keep the weapon secure.
A similar incident happened in Appleton a week ago.
Information just released Wednesday on Facebook indicates a three-year-old child was treated and released February 26th when he was shot in the hand.
