Wisconsin community leaders are stressing the importance of getting everyone counted for the 2020 Census. In Madison, a group of black community leaders said the state will suffer if people don’t cooperate with census takers. They urged everyone to take part, saying that dollars follow the numbers and if blacks are not counted they will miss out on federal money – for everything from schools, to child care, to benefits.
