The Woodland Dunes Nature Center expansion project is coming along nicely, and tomorrow there will be a press conference held at the Nature Center to tell people exactly how far they have come.
SeehaferNews.com spoke with Executive Director Jim Knickelbine, who has nothing but praise for those working on the project citing their ability to “look at a space, come up with a concepts, and then draw it all out and have it come to life, it’s all a really interesting process for me.”
Jessica Johnsrud, the Education Coordinator at Woodland Dunes, was also on hand, and she told us she is most excited for the new parking lot. “That’s such a problem when buses come. Our current parking lot is really tricky for buses.”
The press conference will begin at 10:00 AM tomorrow morning, at Woodland Dunes, located at 3000 Hawthorne Ave in Two Rivers. Tours of the unfinished facility will be taking place afterward.
