Khris Middleton scored the last nine points of the game for Milwaukee as the Bucks held on to beat Washington in overtime Monday 137-134.
Middleton finished the game with 40 points, including a 3-pointer and two clutch free throws in the final 30 seconds. Robin Lopez was also a hero of the game, as he blocked a layup attempt with a few seconds left on the clock to send the game to overtime.
The Wizards’ Bradley Beal followed up a 53-point explosion in Sunday’s loss to the Bulls with another 55 against the Bucks. This is the first time a player has put up 50 plus points on back to back nights since Kobe Bryant did it in 2007.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22 and grabbed 14 rebounds before fouling out with 93 seconds left in regulation.
Milwaukee plays at Toronto against the Raptors tonight (Tuesday).
