It was only a matter of time before the downward trend of the gas prices bounced back up. The good news is in most Eastern Wisconsin Counties the jump was minuscule.
Since the last AAA Fuel Gage Report two weeks ago, gas prices in Manitowoc, rose 4 cents per gallon, now at $2.346, while Sheboygan only jumped 3 cents to nearly $2.33. Door County actually stayed even at $2.40, but the price in Brown County rose by nearly 7 cents to $2.331. Calumet County meanwhile sits at just over $2.32 per gallon.
All five counties are still below the state and national average however. The average Wisconsinite is paying $2.369 per gallon, while nationally the average is $2.472.
Florence County in Northern Wisconsin actually has the highest average price at nearly $2.60 while Dodge County has the lowest average price per gallon at $2.284.
