On Friday, a Brown County resident was airlifted to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle.
The victim was reportedly walking along County Road PP and County Road Z in the Town of Hollandtown just east of Kaukauna at around 11:00 PM when they were struck.
Investigators determined the victim had stopped to help another vehicle that was in the ditch when he was hit. Poor driving conditions are said to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
The victim suffered life threatening injuries, but his or her condition is not known at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing, and it does not appear that any charges have been filed at this time.
