Sales of existing homes and the median price for those properties are both ‘up’ in Manitowoc County, according to the latest information from the Wisconsin Realtors Association. The median price rose from $106,900 to $113,200 in January, compared to the same month in 2019. In addition, home sales in the county had a 5% increase..from 57…a year ago…to 60…last month. Statewide, those figures also increased both in terms of sales and median price in January by 8.9% and 8.6%, respectively.
WRA Chairman Steve Beers said, “What’s amazing is that we performed so well, in light of ‘historically’ low inventory levels in January.” He added “the good economy & excellent mortgage rates have definitely boosted sales.”
