An individual suffers what has been termed as “life-threatening” injuries as the result of a car vs. pedestrian accident last night in Brown County. Lt. Jason Katers of the Sheriff’s Office says that just before 11 p.m. Deputies and EMS personnel responded to the area of County Highways PP and Z in the Town of Hollandtown. An investigation determined that the pedestrian had stopped to assist a vehicle that had gone into the ditch and was struck by a passing vehicle and transported to a local hospital via Theda Star. Poor winter driving conditions were a contributing factor in the crash. Names of those involved are not being released at this time and the crash remains under investigation by The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the State Patrol.
