A trial date is set for a former Madison high school teacher on child pornography charges.
37-year-old David Kruchten was not in court Thursday when a federal judge set his trial for September 21. Attorneys for both the prosecution and Kruchten revealed more charges could be coming.
He pleaded not guilty to seven counts of attempting to produce child pornography. The charges are separate from those filed in Minnesota related to an incident during a field trip to Minneapolis for Madison East High School’s business club.
Students on the December trip found hidden cameras in their hotel rooms.
