A Franklin business owner is sentenced to 72 years in prison for the deaths of two employees in January of 2019.
44-year-old Matthew Neumann was convicted of first-degree reckless homicide and hiding the corpses of Robert Hajduk and Richard Conklin. Neumann said he had remorse for the families but claimed he was not responsible for the crime during sentencing Thursday.
Hajduk and Conklin went missing while working for Spot Free Cleaning and their bodies were later found in a burn pit on property owned by Neumann.
He plans to appeal his conviction.
