Sheboygan County saw an upturn in voters for the Primary election yesterday. 13,315 people cast their ballots yesterday, accounting for 21% of eligible voters. Compare that to 2018, where only 19% of people that were able to vote did so.
Those voters contributed to the narrowing of the race for Supreme Court Justice, which saw Daniel Kelly and Jill Karofsky move on, and Ed Fallone get knocked out.
In the local races, Mike Zimmermann and Patrick Johnson on the ballot in April to be the Sheboygan County Supervisor for District 20.
Mark Hermann will challenge Incumbent Dean Dekker to represent Seboygan’s District 6 as Alderperson, while Renie Rathke, Laura Meyer, Charles Mueller, and Elizabeth Kocher will battle to be on the Random Lake School Baord.
The General Election is scheduled to take place on April 7th.
