Senator Tammy Baldwin continues to push for a new Great Lakes icebreaker after funding was not included in the White House’s proposed 2021 budget. The Wisconsin Democrat says, “President Trump’s short-sighted budget proposal will hurt businesses that need to move their goods to market.” Baldwin says she will keep working with her colleagues to get this job done for Wisconsin businesses and workers. Baldwin and Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher urged the Trump Administration to provide funding for a new Great Lakes icebreaker last month.
