A Milwaukee man is now charged with shooting at kids who were throwing snowballs at cars last month.
Prosecutors say 24-year-old William Carlson is facing seven counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety – use of a dangerous weapon.
Seven kids were throwing snowballs January 4th when one of them hit a light-colored, four-door car. Officers say Carlson got out and fired a handgun as the kids ran from the scene.
A 13-year-old was struck in the leg, another was shot in the arm and a bullet grazed a third kid’s jacket.
Police say Carlson drove off and spent casings were found at the scene. He was arrested a week later in Oak Creek and had a loaded gun that matched the bullet casings.
