Spring Training gets into full swing today as the Milwaukee Brewers have their first official full-squad workout in Arizona(Tuesday).
All the position players had to report to American Family Fields of Phoenix by Monday and join the team’s pitchers and catchers.
Word out of camp is that Ryan Braun is making the switch from the outfield to first base. The free-agent signing of left fielder Avisail Garcia means Braun is expected to see more playing time in the Brewers infield this season.
The team’s first Cactus League game is Saturday at the Rangers. The home opener is Sunday versus the Padres.
