High School Girls Basketball teams in the lakeshore area have learned their playoff assignments. All 1st round tournament games are scheduled for next Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00.
Division-1:
17th seeded Manitowoc Lincoln visits #16 Oshkosh North.
Division-3:
Valders and Kewaunee are the top-2 seeds for the lower half of the bracket in the Little Chute Sectional. And both have opening night byes. Two Rivers #7 is home for 10th seeded Denmark with the winner advancing to play the Storm. The Vikings will meet either Campbellsport or Sturgeon Bay in the Regional semifinals on Friday the 28th. Also in that bracket #5 Kiel is hosting #12 Chilton, and 6th seeded Brillion is home for #11 New Holstein.
Division-4:
Once-beaten Howards Grove receives the one seed, while Mishicot the team that handed the Tigers their only loss last Thursday gets the 2 seed. Both earn first-round byes. The Indians will host the Algoma/Kohler winner February 28th, while Howards Grove meets the winner of #9 Manitowoc Lutheran at 8-seed, Southern Door. Roncalli receives a 5 seed & a home game against #12 Sevastopol next Tuesday night. The winner gets #4 Oostburg in the Regional semi’s. In another opening night game #11 Reedsville travels to #6 St. Mary’s Springs.
Division-5:
Hilbert, with a #5 seed will play host to #12 Sheboygan Area Lutheran, a week from tomorrow night.
