The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a snowmobile crash that left a Seymour Community High School student dead. Deputies say the 15-year-old boy was riding to school this morning when he was hit by an S-U-V on County Highway VV in the Town of Seymour (Wednesday). The preliminary investigation shows the snowmobile was on the Oneida trail system, entered the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. The unidentified victim was a ninth-grade student from Black Creek. A woman driving the S-U-V and her two children were not injured. The Wisconsin D-N-R is assisting with the case.
