For the first time this season the Marquette Golden Eagles are ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 men’s college basketball poll.
They checked in at number-18 Monday, and were ranked number-22 in the U-S-A Today coaches’ poll.
Marquette will have a chance to move up with a win over number-15 Villanova when the teams play in Philadelphia Wednesday.
The following week they will host number-23 Creighton February 18th.
