Police are investigating the shooting deaths of two Janesville women near the interstate early Monday morning.
Officers found the victims just before 3:20 A-M and they were taken to a hospital, but doctors weren’t able to save them.
The names of the two women haven’t been released.
A car registered to one of them was found near Hoffman Estates, Illinois, an hour later.
Video surveillance showed the two at a truck stop about an hour before they were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
