The 92nd Academy Awards took place last night, but for a Sheboygan Company, the biggest prize was their inclusion in the swag bags given to the celebrities.
Everyone who attends the annual awards show receives a bag containing several items, and Sheboygan cosmetics company Olivü 426 sent 100 makeup kits to Hollywood to be included in these bags.
According to their founder, Caitlin Brotz, their “Celebrity Bag” includes products like their whipped avocado lotion, beauty bar, and chapstick.
Brotz’s company caught their big break five years ago when an individual involved in the creation of the swag bags made his way into her store and thought they would be a wonderful inclusion.
Brotz said that while this could boost their sales, she is happy to represent Wisconsin. “We’re definitely going to do our best to represent her city out in Hollywood,” She said “I think what we’re really hoping to get out of this opportunity is the chance to show everybody what Sheboygan has to offer.”
