A 35-year-old Sheboygan County woman is free on a $5000 recognizance bond after appearing in Manitowoc County Circuit Court this afternoon for a bail hearing on several drug charges. Court records show that Abby L. Pease is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police pulled Pease over around midnight on Sunday in the 800 block of Franklin Street on a possible vehicle registration expiration/suspension violation. A K-9 Officer revealed “a presence of drugs” with a subsequent search finding nearly 12 grams of methamphetamine, two-tenths of a gram of marijuana and three smoking devices.
After speaking with Pease-officers concluded that she intended to deliver the meth and she was taken to the County Jail. Conditions of bail are that Pease maintains “absolute sobriety” from drugs and alcohol. Her initial appearance is scheduled for March 9th at 1:30.
