Police in Sheboygan have identified the victim of Thursday’s homicide as 23-year-old Michael Kirsch of Sheboygan. An 18-year-old male suspect was taken to the Sheboygan County Detention Center on homicide-related charges while a 17-year-old female was placed in the County Detention Center on drug-related charges.
Their names have not yet been released. Officers responded to a reported disturbance at approximately 2:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Clara Avenue in which a firearm was discharged.
Upon arrival, Police found Kirsch dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. The case has been turned over to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for review. The SPD says that there is “no threat” to the community as all the individuals involved knew each other. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sheboygan Police.
