National Marquette Day brings the first of three nationally-ranked opponents to meet the Golden Eagles Sunday.
The game against number-19 Butler will be followed by Villanova February 12th and Creighton February 18th.
National Marquette Day is a tradition dating back to the 1960s which brings alumni together each year, either in Milwaukee or at more than 50 locations around the world.
It officially started in 1992 but was called Spirit Day before that.
Butler will bring an 18-and-5 record into the Fiserv Forum for a Big East contest starting at 11:00 A-M.
The Eagles are 16-and-6 and both teams are 6-and-4 in conference games.
