Southeast Wisconsin is about to be a U-S gummy bear hub. German confectionery company HARIBO plans to open a facility in Pleasant Prairie. The new plant will sit on almost 140 acres and managers say it will create hundreds of new jobs. It will be HARIBO’s first-ever North American plant. The world’s largest gummy bear maker hopes to break ground later this year.
