A 38-year-old Sheboygan woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries yesterday morning after a two-vehicle intersection collision.
Sheboygan police say the crash occurred at South 10th Street and Georgia Avenue just after 6 am when the driver of a GMC Yukon failed to stop for the 2-way stop sign.
Moments later, the Yukon was hit by a westbound vehicle on Georgia Avenue. Two occupants in the latter unit were injured, including the 38-year old Sheboygan woman.
A 22-year-old Sheboygan man was treated for minor injuries while those riding in the other vehicle weren’t injured.
Sheboygan police said the intersection was closed for a number of hours to investigate the crash.
No arrests have been made but the incident remains under investigation.
