
Investigators have released the identity of the man who was stabbed to death over the weekend.
The victim is 67-year-old former Oshkosh Police Captain, Jay Puestohl.
Puestohl retired in 2008 after serving 32 years with the Oshkosh Police Department.
The Fond du Lac Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy on Monday, but the results have not been released at this time.
Puestohl was stabbed in a residence in the 1200 block of Waugoo Avenue at about 4:00 PM on Sunday.
An unnamed 63-year-old woman also received minor injuries in the attack.
A 28-year-old male suspect was arrested, and the three people reportedly know each other.
