Wisconsin has experienced a lengthy stretch of low unemployment, which is great for the workers, but for employers, it makes finding people to fill their staff a struggle.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is combating this by hosting a Veteran Ready Summit next week, which aims to teach business owners how to “engage and attract transitioning military talent” to their business.
The event entitled the Mission Wisconsin Veteran-Ready Summit will be held at the Hotel Northland in Green Bay next Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
A networking reception will also be held the previous day.
