Manitowoc County may become a second amendment sanctuary county, but discussion of the resolution has been put off until March.
County Board Chairman Jim Brey issued a news release on Friday saying the Executive Committee will begin discussions in the County Board Room at 5 PM on the 5th of March.
Brey said in the release there seems to be some confusion as to when the board would discuss the matter.
He said he mentioned the issue at the January 21st meeting, but had not determined then whether it would first go to the committee or the full board.
He said the purpose of the timing is to give residents time to voice their opinions and for supervisors to do their homework.
