The Fond du Lac Police Department is looking into an attempted child enticement incident from Saturday and are asking for the public’s help.
Reports indicate that a 3-year-old was playing near an ally between East Johnson and East Follett Streets, when an unknown man driving a Chevy Silverado stopped to talk to the child sometime between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.
The man reportedly got out of his vehicle, but quickly sped off when he was confronted by a witness.
The suspect is reported to be roughly 5 feet 6 inches tall, is estimated to be in his mid to late 50’s, and has white, stubbly facial hair.
