DNC Accepting Applications for Milwaukee Convention Volunteers

The Democratic National Convention is now taking official applications for volunteers. Convention planners say they need 15,000 volunteers for this summer’s big event in Milwaukee. The convention committee launched a portal Thursday where people can sign-up to volunteer. The website is www.milwaukee2020.com/volunteer. So far, ten-thousand people have said they are interested in helping out. All volunteers will need to be screened and have a background check before being assigned to a job.
