A 37-year-old Two Rivers man will spend 15 years in federal prison for possession with the intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine. Clint J. Blaha will also spend 10 years on supervised release as part of his sentence handed down yesterday by Senior District Federal Judge William Greisbach in Green Bay.
Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit investigators began monitoring Blaha’s travels to known drug distribution areas last spring. During a traffic stop last July, authorities recovered 77-and-a-half grams of methamphetamine with a subsequent search of his residence turning up 1.25 pounds of what’s described as “actual crystal meth” packaged up for sale.
In handing down Blaha’s sentence Judge Greisbach stated that this sentence was needed to “send a strong message of deterrence to Blaha and anyone else who might attempt to distribute drugs in northeast Wisconsin.”
