The Milwaukee Bucks say their new agreement with service and hospitality workers is historic.
Announced Wednesday, all workers would be paid a minimum of 15 dollars-an-hour if the union membership ratifies the deal.
The new minimum wage would go into effect in July – just before 50,000 visitors arrive for the Democratic National Convention.
Workers would also get raises through a cost-of-living adjustment and longevity pay hikes during the life of the three-and-a-half-year deal.
