Orion Energy Systems of Manitowoc announced today that they have received a commitment from a major national account to further expand the retrofit of their lighting systems with the local manufacturer’s State-of-the-art LED lighting and wireless Internet of Things (IoT) enabled control solutions.
CEO Mike Altschafel says that Orion’s selection was based on its proven ability to design, develop and install customized-highly energy efficient-U.S. manufactured LED lighting solutions on a turnkey basis. Allowing the customer to use their products immediately upon receiving them.
Altschafel adds “Orion’s on time, on budget performance with this national customer over the past year has paved the way to extend our role in their LED lighting retrofit plans. Our expanding role with this customer (not stated in a news release) is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Orion team to deliver the highest levels of quality and service”.
Orion anticipates additional revenue of $18 million to $20 million under this phase leading them to increase its fiscal 2020 revenue goal from roughly $135 million to $155 million. Installations are slated for completion sometime this spring.
