Green Bay Hoping Shipyard Development Will Lead To Further Growth

Green Bay city officials are hoping the Shipyard development will serve as a catalyst for further growth in the Broadway District. Ten million dollars has been allocated to the project along the Fox River. Another one million has been earmarked for improvements to surrounding neighborhoods. Residents will be able to offer their ideas at a revitalization meeting Wednesday at 6:30 P-M at Tank Elementary School. Local officials have spent today (Tuesday) with E-P-A representatives on a tour of the district, sharing statistics and data in advance of the public meeting.
