Charges have been filed around a year and a half after a two-month-old child died in Fond du Lac.
An ambulance was called to a home on East Merrill Avenue on June 25th, 2018 and the caller reported that the child had stopped breathing.
Medical personnel discovered that the infant had a “massive” skull fracture, which resulted in her death.
The mother of the child, 26-year-old Shauntina R. Fuller-Pankey was reportedly suffering from postpartum depression and allegedly became angry with her children regularly.
She has now been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide and Physical Abuse of a Child – Intentionally Cause Harm. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 31.
