Markus Howard scored 32 points, but he got help from Sacar Anim’s 21 and 6 blocked shots by Theo John Tuesday night.
Marquette (14-5, 4-3 Big East) rolled to its third straight Big East Conference victory with an 82-68 decision against St. John’s (12-8, 1-6).
The Red Storm led a good portion of the first half, but Marquette closed with a 10-2 run to go up 37-31.
The visitors shot only 37 percent from the field and the Golden Eagles are undefeated when holding opponents under 40 percent.
Marquette’s next action is Friday night at Butler, with tip-off at 8:00 P-M.
