Members of the Wisconsin Assembly are voting today on a series of bills that would help local communities and people fighting opioid addiction. One new law would make it easier for county jails to buy Narcan for use in case of prisoner overdoses. Another would change Medicaid rules to include coverage for acupuncture and the costs of peer-recovery coaches. The bills have the support of the Republican majority in the chamber.
