The identities of the four victims in last Friday’s house fire in Oconto have been released.
35-year-old Katherine DeCoursin, as well as her children 15-year-old Jeri Schroeder, 13-year-old Dalton Schroeder, and 11-year-old Nicholas DeCoursin Jr. all died in the fire.
Reports indicate that the fire started in the early morning hours, while Katherine’s husband was out of town for work.
Additional details have not yet been released, as the investigation continues.
Administrators at Oconto Middle and High Schools informed students that the counselors are available to talk with anyone struggling with the loss.
