Free-agent reliever Pedro Strop tells reports he is considering contract offers from several major league clubs.
The Cubs setup man lists the Milwaukee Brewers among the teams who have shown interest.
Strop says he has three offers in hand right now, but he didn’t say if the Brewers are on that list.
Hamstring and neck injuries held him to fewer than 42 innings last season, cost him near one-and-a-half miles-an-hour off his fastball.
The Brewers have had a lot of success making sure they have a strong bullpen.
